Niaomi Carter
Regional Programs Director- Northeast at INROADS

INROADS Alumna Niaomi Carter has over 20 years of experience working in Corporate America, Higher Ed, and the non-profit sector. Carter has built a solid track record for leading organizations through her innovative thought leadership, internal stakeholder engagement, and process improvement initiatives. Over her tenyear tenure at INROADS, she has served in multiple capacities. This includes being Regional Director of the Mid-Atlantic and INROADS first National Director of Government Strategy and Business Development where she built partnerships with Federal Agencies to expose students to careers in the government. Currently, Niaomi serves as Northeast Regional Director of Programs for the INROADS Internship Program. Her team works with students to not only secure internships but to be successful ensuring they have the skills to navigate their careers long term
 


 

Kennedy Lewis
Graduate Coaching Assistant at Alabama A&M University

Kennedy Christine Lewis is a second year Master of Science - Communications Specialist / Athletic Brand Management candidate at Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University (AAMU). Fully immersed in the university’s offerings, Kennedy served as the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 Graduate Student Body Vice President, the graduate assistant coach for the track and field team and an active participant in campus culture. She is excited to complete her matriculation in May 2024. Prior to AAMU, Kennedy accepted a full scholarship to complete her undergraduate track and Field career at Howard University. While at Howard, Kennedy embraced the HBCU and athletic culture. She previously worked as the Media Relations Assistant for the athletic department, specifically working on projects and logistics for the Track, Football and Volleyball teams. Additionally, she is an alum of the Make a Play Foundation D-League Fellowship program where she worked with a cross-regional cohort of diverse student-athletes to develop skills in communication, innovation, leadership, management, marketing, operations, problem-solving, and sales. Although her story is just beginning, she just completed her bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications from the illustrious Howard University. After graduation in May 2024 from Alabama A&M, Kennedy will continue to work in the communications arena, working full-time in the Sales Management Training Program at PEPSICO in Atlanta, GA.
