Requirements

This program is open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are working on a degree in forensic science, forensic chemistry, or physical or natural science.

Current forensic science laboratory employees working on a graduate degree are not eligible.

Applicants must submit a statement describing their motivation for applying for this award, including their interest in specific forensic disciplines, career goals, past projects, financial need, or any other topic that will help explain their situation.

Selection is based on that statement, overall scholastic record, scholastic record in forensic science course work, motivation or commitment to a forensic science career, and recommendations.
