Anne Anastasi Mission Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of Psi Beta (a national honor society for community and junior college psychology students) who have conducted outstanding activities related to the mission of the organization.

Requirements

This program is open to Psi Beta student members who have made a significant mission-related contribution to their chapter.

The project should align with the following examples of appropriate activities: community service, effective meetings, collaboration, membership, chapter delegating, or research.

Applicants must submit a 1,000word essay that covers 1) the part or parts of Psi Beta's mission (i.e., leadership, service, scholarship, research) to which the activity aligns; 2) the number of chapter members and non-members who were impacted; 3) the likelihood that this project will continue; 4) the knowledge or skills they have gained as a consequence of this mission activity; 5) any measures used to gauge the activity's effectiveness, and 6) the advice they have for other members or chapters that choose to emulate their project.
