Ascend Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate minority accounting students who are members of Ascend: Pan-Asian Leaders and of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Requirements

This program is open to members of minority groups underrepresented in the accounting profession.

Applicants must have completed at least 30 hours of college course work, including at least 6 hours in accounting, at a 4year college or university in the United States or its territories as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an accounting-related field.

They must be members of Ascend and AICPA, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

They must also be able to demonstrate some financial need.
