Ascend Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate minority accounting students who are members of Ascend: Pan-Asian Leaders and of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of minority groups underrepresented in the accounting profession.
  • Applicants must have completed at least 30 hours of college course work, including at least 6 hours in accounting, at a 4year college or university in the United States or its territories as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an accounting-related field.
  • They must be members of Ascend and AICPA, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
  • They must also be able to demonstrate some financial need.
