Association of Connecticut Fairs Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Connecticut who have participated in a local fair and are interested in attending college in any state to major in agriculture, home economics, or other fields.

Requirements

This program is open to Connecticut residents who are graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled at a college or other accredited institution of higher learning in any state.

Applicants must have been active participants or exhibitors at a member fair of the Association of Connecticut Fairs which sponsors them.

Awards are available to students who are majoring in 1) agriculture, home economics, or a related field; 2) any field; or 3) a field selected by the sponsor.

Selection is based on academic standing (20%), citizenship and leadership (25%), fair participation (35%), and financial need (20%).
