California Women for Agriculture North Valley Chapter Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and college students who have ties to designated counties in the northern Sacramento Valley, especially those studying agriculture.

Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) high school seniors and students attending colleges in Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lassen, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, and Yuba counties of California; and 2) children and grandchildren of members of the North Valley Chapter of California Women for Agriculture (CWA).
  • Applicants must submit transcripts; a resume of school activities, awards and achievements, community involvement, and work experience; and a letter of recommendation.
  • They must also submit brief statements on their career aspiration, their goals for the next 5 to 10 years, the main goal they have set and accomplished within the past 5 years, how this scholarship will help them to fund their education, and their most meaningful accomplishments and how those related to their field of study and their future goals.
  • In the selection process, priority is given to firsttime applicants, students showing financial need, and applicants studying an agricultural or related field.
