The Catherine M. Newman Memorial Scholarship supports students attending or planning to attend a public university in Arizona. Graduating high school seniors and college freshmen and sophomores are welcome to apply. Students who participate in community service or who are studying for a degree in the sciences or writing receive special consideration.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Graduating high school senior, college freshman, or sophomore

Seeking a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, or the University of Arizona as a fulltime student

U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or current DACA status

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who participate in community service or who are studying for a degree in the sciences or writing (including mathematics, engineering, and journalism).
