Connie Scheffer Public Health Nurse Endowed Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Kansas who are working on a degree in public health nursing at the undergraduate, master's, or doctoral level at a school in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens who are working on a nursing degree at the undergraduate or graduate level at a school in Kansas.

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

They must be enrolled in at least 6 hours per semester, but preference is given to fulltime students.

The following priority is used in awarding scholarships: 1) R.N.s working on B.S.N.s and employed in public health settings; and 2) graduate and postgraduate nursing students in public health nursing or public health (e.g., M.P.H. degree).
