The Darrell McDade Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student-athlete who is pursuing higher education. Students who attended West High School in Columbus, Ohio, and participated in athletics for two years (one being their senior year) are welcome to apply. Students who are varsity letter winners, who participated in multiple sports, and/or who participated in athletics throughout high school receive special consideration.

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Graduating high school senior or graduate of West High School in Columbus, Ohio (attended for junior and senior year)

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in the U.S.

Participate in athletics for at least 2 years (including senior year) Preference is given to students who are varsity letter winners, who participated in multiple sports, and/or who participated in athletics during all four years of high school.
