Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo 4-H Scholarship provides financial assistance to 4-H members in Texas who have participated in the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and are interested in studying any field at a college in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating seniors at high schools in Texas who have been actively participating in 4-H and plan to enroll full-time at a 4-year college or university in the state to major in any field.
  • Applicants must rank in the upper half of their class, have minimum scores of 950 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT, and have taken and passed all other standardized tests necessary for graduation and admittance to the college or university of their choice.
  • They must have exhibited, judged, or participated in the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, produced by the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show.
  • Selection is based on 4H experience and narratives (50%), GPA (5%), SAT/ACT score (23%), financial need (12%), and a personal interview (10%).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
