The Frank E. Bolden Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a special education or early childhood teaching certification in the state of Pennsylvania. Applicants must attend a college or university within the 18 county Western Pennsylvania area (Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Warren, Westmorland, and Washington counties). Students who plan to pursue a career focusing on the education and development of special needs children are encouraged to apply.
