Geraldine Memmo Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Seneca Nation who are interested in attending college to prepare for a career in the health or human services professions and have also demonstrated an interest in Seneca and Native American history.

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of the Seneca Nation who are interested in attending college to assist the Seneca people, especially in regard to the fight against diabetes, by working on a degree in health or social services.
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate an interest in Seneca and Native American history.
  • In the selection process, the primary consideration is given to financial need, but involvement in community and cultural activities, interest in research on Seneca and Native American history and heritage, and desire to improve the quality of life for the Seneca people are also considered.
