GFAI Scholarship provides financial assistance and work experience to Illinois residents who are working on an undergraduate degree in agribusiness at a college or university in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Illinois who are enrolled as freshmen, sophomores, or juniors at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must be preparing for a career in agriculture with an emphasis on the grain handling or feed industry.

They must be available to work 4 days (2 in fall and 2 in spring) at a grain elevator in the state from March through December and to attend a 3day leadership seminar during the summer.

Selection is based on academic performance, career goal, financial need, and involvement within the grain and feed industry.
