Golden Gate District 21 Daughters of Penelope Re-Entry Scholarship provides financial assistance to members or children or grandchildren of members of organizations affiliated with the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) in northern California or northern Nevada and interested in returning to college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to female residents of Golden Gate District 21 (northern California and northern Nevada) who 1) have been members of Daughters of Penelope for at least 2 years and attended at least 4 meetings per year; or 2) are the child or grandchild of a member of AHEPA or Daughters of Penelope who has been a member for at least 2 years and attended at least 4 meetings per year.

Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at a college, university, or vocational school in any state as a reentry student.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on academic merit.
