Requirements

This program is open to students enrolled at colleges and universities in Iowa who are of Latino heritage.

Applicants must submit 500word essays on 1) what being Latino means to them and what they have done or plan to do in the Latino community; and 2) the importance of this scholarship in their college plans.

Selection is based on those essays, GPA, extracurricular activities, community service, and leadership or work experience.
