Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens and legal residents who are San Diego County residents of Hispanic descent (1 or both parents of Hispanic ethnicity).

Applicants must be working or planning to work full time on a degree in STEM at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university in the county and have a GPA of 2.8 or higher.

They must be members of the student chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at their high school, community college, or university.

Financial need is also considered in the selection process.
