The Joan Japa Vujovich Scholarship is open to graduating seniors from Riley High School in South Bend, Indiana. Students planning to seek an associate or bachelor's degree on a full-time basis are encouraged to apply. Those engaged in the musical arts receive speical consideration.

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student Preference is given to students engaged in the musical arts. A new award is given every even-numbered year. Students who apply for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship but do not receive it may be considered for this award.
