Requirements
  • This program is open to surviving spouses and natural and adopted children of California officers who died in the line of duty, regardless of how long ago.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited postsecondary institution in any state.
  • They must be carrying at least 8 units per semester and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, school activities, community service, and financial need.
