The Joseph J. & Marion L. Hempel Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors or adult students who are studying for a nursing or allied health degree. Students who reside or are employed in Calhoun County, Michigan are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to applicants who plan to attend or are attending Kellogg Community College.

  • Studying for a degree in a patientoriented health care program or an allied health area (nursing, physician's assistant, physical therapist)
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, conditional permanent resident, refugee, or asylum granted
  • Demonstrate financial need
