Lucas Eibel Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Oregon who are attending a community college in the state to prepare for a career in the water environment field.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Oregon who have completed at least 1 year of full-time study at a community college in the state.

Applicants must be planning to work on an associate degree in a field related to the water environment or transfer to a 4year institution and complete a bachelor's degree in such a field.

They must be U.S. citizens.

Selection is based on that essay, academic potential, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and experience pertaining to or related to the water or wastewater field.

Preference is given to students at Umpqua Community College.
