The Martha Horton Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of designated California counties who have been accepted into an associate degree in nursing (A.D.N.) program and will contribute to ethnic and socioeconomic diversity in nursing.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Contra Costa, Humboldt, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Solano, or Sonoma counties in California.

Applicants must have been accepted into an A.D.N. program at an accredited school of nursing and be planning to complete the program within 2 years.

They must be a member of an ethnic or socioeconomic group that will contribute to diversity in the nursing profession.
