The MDSGC Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduates who are interested in studying space-related fields at selected universities in Maryland that are members of the Maryland Space Grant Consortium (MDSGC). Component of NASA Space Grant program, which encourages participation by women, underrepresented minorities, and persons with disabilities.

Requirements
  • Enrolled full-time at MDSGC member institution (Capital Technology University, Hagerstown Community College, Johns Hopkins University, Mortan State University, Towson University, University of Maryland College Park, University of Maryland Baltimore County, University of Maryland Eastern Shore).
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in a field of STEM that will lead to an aerospace career (e.g., astronomy, biological and life sciences, chemistry, computer science, engineering, geological sciences, physics).
  • U.S. citizen. Preference is given to women, underrepresented minorities, and persons with disabilities.
