National Association of Educational Office Professionals Special Needs Student Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors with disabilities who plan to attend a college or university.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who have an identified disability and are planning to attend college.

Applicants must be sponsored by an affiliate of the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP).

They must have completed a majority of the goals on their individualized education plan (IEP); participated satisfactorily in their school program; registered and participated in referral procedures for students with disabilities (e.g., communitybased support agencies, supported-living homes); and demonstrated student achievement toward planning for adulthood (e.g., goal-setting, consumer awareness, personal care, peer relationships).

Selection is based on that statement (10%), academic record (30%), school/community/work activities (20%), financial need (30%), and recommendations (10%).

The application fee is $20.
