Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in New Jersey and planning to enroll at an accredited 2- or 4-year college or university in any state.

Applicants must submit a 250word essay on a topic that changes annually; recently, students were asked to comment on the statement, "Why a clean, well-maintained, and safe school environment; is important and makes a difference in a student's education."

Selection is based on that essay (25%), SAT/ACT scores (20%), GPA (10%), curriculum load (10%), extracurricular and volunteer activities and recognitions (10%), and financial need (25%).
