North Carolina Hispanic College Fund Scholarship provides financial assistance to Hispanic students from North Carolina who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of North Carolina who are of Hispanic background (both parents are at least half Hispanic or 1 parent is fully Hispanic) and either 1) are graduating high school seniors; or 2) graduated from high school within the past 2 years.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a 2 or 4-year college or university in any state and be committed to public service and community development.

They must have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Preference is given to foreignborn applicants and the native-born children of foreign-born parents.

Selection is based on academic achievement, community involvement, volunteerism, leadership, and family economic need.
