Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in selected communities who plan to study engineering or related fields at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in the following areas: 1) the state of Maryland; 2) the Woodland Hills area of California (Conejo, San Fernando, Simi Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, or Ventura County); 3) San Diego County, California; 4) Sacramento County, California; 5) Alameda or Santa Clara County, California; 6) the cities of Arlington Heights, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Mount Prospect, Palatine, or Rolling Meadows in Illinois; 7) Erie or Niagara County in New York; 8) Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, or Warren County in Ohio; 9) Albemarle County in Virginia; or 10) Fairfax County in Virginia.
  • Applicants must be planning to enroll fulltime at a 4-year college or university in any state and major in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and scores of at least 1150 on the SAT or 27 on the ACT. Along with their application, they must submit a 500word essay on their career goals.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
