Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens from any state who are entering their junior, senior, or fifth undergraduate year at a college or university in Ohio.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate interest in a career in the Ohio industrial minerals industry.

They must be working on a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction materials, or a related field.

Graduate students at universities in Ohio whose major focus of study is related to construction materials with an emphasis on mining are also eligible.

In the selection process, outstanding academic ability is not required, but students must be in good academic standing with their university; financial need is not required, but students may indicate if they require financial assistance; extracurricular and philanthropic activities are considered.
