Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Oklahoma who have a record of outstanding community involvement and plan to attend college in the state.
This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Oklahoma who plan to attend a college or university in the state.
Students may be nominated by a teacher, administrator, or other responsible adults who are not a relative.
Nominees must submit brief essays on 1) their own story and how being an Oklahoman has shaped their life; 2) an individual who has been inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, the characteristics you admire in the person's efforts, and/or what inspired the student for their own life; 3) the name of the community and school organizations, length of service to those organizations, any offices or leadership positions you were elected to by your peers, and the lessons or life skills you have learned because of your work and affiliation with those groups; and 4) their overall academic achievement.
Selection is based on information in those essays.
