Requirements

Graduate of a high school within the DFW Metroplex area (Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise counties) of Texas

Completed at least 45 hours of collegiate coursework

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in a field of communications, print and broadcast journalism, public relations, or advertising

Exhibit leadership potential

Participate in extracurricular and work activities

Demonstrate financial need
