About the Scholarship

The Reach Higher Scholarship's mission is to make a difference in the Shasta County, California community, as well as in individual students' lives, by focusing on students who are statistically unlikely to pursue a 4-year college or university education. The scholarship is available to students starting in their freshman year at a Shasta County high school in California. Students who have a commitment to completing the A-G requirements and plan to earn their bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Those whose parents have a bachelor's degree are not eligible to apply.
