Requirements

This program is open to residents of Michigan who have served on active duty in the U.S. armed forces (including Reserves and National Guard) for at least 6 continuous months and are either currently serving in the armed forces or have received a separation from active duty under honorable conditions.

Applicants must be currently accepted to and/or enrolled at a 2 or 4-year accredited college, university, or trade/technical school in Michigan.

They must be enrolled at least halftime and have a cumulative high school or undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Selection is based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community service, potential to succeed in an academic environment, financial need, and military service record.
