Requirements

This program is open to residents of San Diego County who are committed to enhancing the health care and educational needs of the Hispanic community.

Applicants must be accepted or enrolled in an L.V.N., R.N., associate, baccalaureate, graduate, or postgraduate degree nursing program in the county.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the last year and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher for all college courses.

Firsttime applicants are not required to be members of the San Diego chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (SDNAHN), but they must become a member before a scholarship will be awarded.
