The San Fernando Valley Chapter of The Links Academic Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley in California who are interested in attending college.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating 1) high school seniors and transferring community college students enrolling at a 4-year college or university, and 2) high school seniors enrolling at a community college.

Applicants must reside in the San Fernando or Santa Clarita valleys.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be enrolled fulltime.

Selection is based on academic achievement, community engagement, and financial need.

Foster youth are especially encouraged to apply.

Scholarships of $2000, per year for four years, are awarded to students whose record reflects high academic scholarship, community engagement, and/or financial need, and show confirmation of enrollment in an accredited college or university.

Scholarships of $500 per year, for up to two years, are awarded to worthy students showing confirmation of semester enrollment in an accredited community college.
