San Joaquin Engineers Council Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in the San Joaquin region of California who plan to study engineering at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in the San Joaquin region of California, defined as the counties of Amador, Calaveras, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne.
  • Applicants must plan to enroll in an ABETaccredited engineering program at a 4-year college or university in any state.
  • They must have scores of at least 500 on the SAT critical reading and 600 on the SAT mathematics or 25 on the ACT English and 29 on the ACT mathematics examinations.
  • Selection is based on the essay (10%), GPA (20%), supplemental credits for high school curriculum (10%), activities (20%), and financial need (40%).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
