The Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors interested in the energy industry with a demonstrated aptitude in mathematics and science. These scholarship programs support Shell’s objective of ensuring a qualified workforce in engineering and geosciences disciplines in the future. Students who plan to study for a degree in engineering or geosciences at universities identified by Shell are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Graduating high school senior

Studying for a degree in geology, geophysics, physics, or chemical, civil, electrical, geological, geophysical, mechanical or petroleum engineering at a specified institution

Enrolled as a fulltime student

Authorized to work on a fulltime basis in the U.S. without any form of sponsorship

U.S. citizen, permanent resident or national, an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee, asylee, temporary resident, or an individual who possesses valid work authorization
