South Carolina Tennis Patrons Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in South Carolina who have played tennis and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in South Carolina and planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must submit a 500word essay on the impact of tennis on their lives.

Selection is based on, in order of importance, academic achievement, character and sportsmanship, extracurricular activities and community service, notable tennis achievements, and the essay.

Specific scholarships are designated for applicants who best exemplify 1) character and sportsmanship; 2) volunteerism in school and community and the growth and development of the sport of tennis; and 3) the greatest individual achievements in tennis competition.
