Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors and students currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year accredited college, university, or technical school in any state, including nontraditional students.

Applicants must be members of the National Farmers Union or their children and residents of Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin.

They may be planning to major in any field, but preference is given to students in agriculturerelated disciplines.

Selection is based on the essay or oral presentation, academic record, and social and community activities.
