Texas DECA Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school senior members of Texas DECA who plan to study business or marketing at a college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Texas who are members of DECA. Applicants must be planning to attend a college or university in any state and prepare for a career in business or marketing.

They must submit brief statements on their DECA activities, other activities, what being a DECA member has meant to them, how their participation in DECA has added to the organization and their goals as they pursue an education and career in the field of business and marketing.

Selection is based on DECA participation, grades in career and technical education courses, future educational plans and career goals in the area of business and marketing, and financial need.
