Requirements

This program is open to students currently enrolled at community colleges in southern California (defined as the area south of the 36th parallel).

Applicants must be majoring in geography and have completed at least 2 courses in that discipline.

They must have a GPA of at least 3.0 overall and 3.5 in geography courses.

Selection is based on merit; financial need is not considered.

Students who are not already members of the Los Angeles Geographical Society must join in order to apply.
