The Walter J. Thackray Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors who plan to study for a degree in construction management, agricultural science, or horticultural science. Special consideration is given to students who are direct descendants of operating engineers, teamsters, or other labor trades.

Resident of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania, or Burlington or Camden counties in New Jersey

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in agricultural science, construction management, or horticultural science

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to a student who is a direct descendant of an operating engineer, teamster, or other labor trade.
