Washington State Ambassador Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Washington who are working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in a transportation-related aspect of public administration at a college or university in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Washington who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or valid visa holders.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an approved accredited institution in any state and have a GPA of 2.7 or higher.

They must be preparing for a career in public policy or public administration in transportation or a related field.

Selection is based on that essay (20%); GPA (15%); participation in activities related to career goal (10%); 2 letters of recommendation (15%); school and community engagement (15%); and an interview (25%).
