Working Ranch Cowboys Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to "working ranch cowboys" and their family members who are interested in attending college or graduate school.

Requirements

This program is open to "working ranch cowboys," defined as any person, male or female, who derives at least 90% of their income from taking care of cattle on a cattle ranch.

Children and spouses of cowboys are also eligible.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at a college, trade school, vocational program, or graduate school in any state.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on transcripts; an essay on their career goals, their plans for reaching those goals, and how they can use their career goals to contribute to the ranching community; school activities; community service, church, and other activities; positions of leadership; honors received; and financial situation.
