The Allen-Sprinkle Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to legally blind residents of West Virginia who are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements

Must be legally blind.

Resident of Virginia who are graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, or graduate students.

Enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime.

Accredited college, university, postsecondary vocational institute, or graduate school in any state.

Selection is based on academic excellence, community service, and financial need. The winner is expected to attend the annual convention of the National Federation of the Blind of West Virginia.
