AMVETS National Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship provides financial assistance to members and certain dependents of members of AMVETS National Ladies Auxiliary who are already enrolled in college.

Requirements

Applicants must belong to AMVETS Auxiliary or be the child or grandchild of a member.

They must be in at least the second year of undergraduate study at an accredited college or university.

Applications must include 3 letters of recommendation and an essay (from 200 to 500 words) about their past accomplishments, career and educational goals, and objectives for the future.

Selection is based on the letters of reference (15%), academic record (15%), the essay (25%), and financial need (45%).
