Art Jess Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The Art Jess Scholarship program supports high school seniors and current college students who reside in Alaska. Applicants should be Alaska Native, American Indian, and/or Hawaiian Native. Students who participate in community service, work, and extracurricular activities are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to residents of Chilkat Valley, Chilkat Indian Village, or Chilkoot Indian Association tribal members. An additional consideration is also given to students who have completed or are enrolled in the first year of postsecondary education and previous Art Jess Scholarship recipients.
