ASHRAE James R. Bullock Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate architectural and mechanical engineering students at schools in selected states who are interested in heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R).

Requirements
  • This program is open to undergraduate architectural and mechanical engineering students working on a degree at a college or university in Region IV of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE): Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.
  • Applicants must be enrolled full time in a course of study that has traditionally been preparatory for the profession of HVAC&R and that is either ABETaccredited or at a school that has a student ASHRAE chapter.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a standing in the top 30% of their class.
  • Selection is based on potential service to the HVAC&R profession, financial need, leadership ability, recommendations from instructors, and work ethics.
