Barry and Deanna Snyder, Sr. Chairman's Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Seneca Nation who are interested in attending college to prepare for a career in the health or human services professions and have experience in a leadership position.

Requirements

This program is open to members of the Seneca Nation who are interested in attending college to assist the Seneca people, especially in regard to the fight against diabetes, by working on a degree in health or human services.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience in a leadership position.

In the selection process, the primary consideration is given to financial need, but involvement in community and cultural activities, personal assets, and desire to improve the quality of life for the Seneca people are also considered.

GPA of 3.0 or above.
