College Raptor Scholarship recognizes and rewards, with scholarships, students who register with College Raptor and submit outstanding essays about that service.

Requirements

To enter this competition, students (high school juniors and seniors, and current college students) must first register with College Raptor, the college search service.

Once registered, they must submit a 500word essay on 1 of the following topics: 1) how College Raptor was helpful in their college search and allowed them to discover their best-fit college based on their goals; 2) how costs influenced their college decision and how using College Raptor helped them in their search process; 3) how College Raptor helped them finalize their college list; or 4) for students already enrolled in college, what features of the College Raptor match tool would have been most helpful to them during their college search process.

Selection is based on the essay (50%), GPA (25%), and ACT or SAT score (25%).
