The First Catholic Slovak Union Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to high school seniors who are members of the First Catholic Slovak Union of the United States and Canada (FCSU).

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in the United States and Canada and planning to attend an approved institution of higher education.

Applicants must be of Slovak descent and Catholic faith.

They must be FCSU members who have had for at least 4 years $5,000 or more of reserve insurance, $10,000 or more of JEP single premium policy, or a $1,000 annuity.

Selection is based on those essays, a transcript of grades that includes ACT or SAT scores, extracurricular school activities, volunteer community activities, work experience, and financial need.
