Global Ambassador Scholarship provides financial assistance to college athletes who have Type 1 diabetes.

Requirements

This program is open to students enrolled at accredited NAIA and NCAA schools who play a sanctioned sport for that school.

Applicants must have been living with Type 1 diabetes.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Awards are presented to athletes who demonstrate an ability to balance both academic and sporting commitments, promote healthy living with successful diabetes management through exercise, and desire to inspire and empower others through meaningful diabetes community engagement.
